Vanessa Mafra is a psychologist who has been working online since 2019. Over the years, her work has crossed borders: today, she has clients across Brazil and in different countries around the world, with a particular focus on Brazilians navigating immigration and life abroad.
When we started working together, she already had a visual identity developed by a designer and a clear goal: to create a website that would not only present her work, but also become the foundation for reaching new clients online, particularly through SEO and, eventually, paid advertising.
So my work started with understanding that goal and designing the website around it. How should the information be organised? Which content would be important? How could we make navigation simpler and explain her work clearly to someone discovering it for the first time?
Throughout the process, we worked on the copy, content structure and improvements to the user experience, while I adapted her existing visual identity to the digital space.
Because Vanessa works entirely online, the website also needed to communicate that lack of geographical boundaries and make it clear who she works with, how she works and how she can help.
The result is a website designed to serve a very practical purpose today while being ready to grow with her strategy in the future: presenting her work clearly, making that first contact easier and creating a solid foundation for new people to find her.
