When we started this project, Amanda’s work already had a long history behind it. She had been working with astrology and tarot for over eight years, with more than 2,000 sessions along the way, although she never really liked defining herself simply as an astrologer or tarot reader.
Until then, almost everything happened through Instagram. The link in her bio led to different PDF files, each explaining a service, how the sessions worked and their prices. It worked, but it no longer reflected where her work was at.
The website came from the idea of bringing everything together in one place and creating something more professional, organised and, most importantly, closer to who Amanda is. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to move away from the typical “young mystic” aesthetic and create an identity that reflected her experience and professionalism without losing the sensitivity behind her work.
We built that world together: terracotta tones, fine serif typefaces, subtle graphic elements, content and page structure. Every decision came back, in one way or another, to the same question: does this feel like Amanda?
The new website also gave her space to tell the things that never quite fitted into a link in an Instagram bio: her story, her approach, the different sessions she offers and her first published book, Ensaio de mim.
It was a project built closely together, through conversations, references and small adjustments. In the end, we created more than a new website: we created a space where Amanda could see herself reflected.
